Requirements:The app uses Google voice search libraries which is installed in most devices. You can confirm availability under Settings -> Language & Input -> Voice InputPlease make sure good internet is available as some of the speech library functions need internet accessThe app may consume higher power due to speech recognition. You can have the charger connected while using the chant counterThe current version does not work for fast chanting. This app recognizes user’s speech and automatically counts the chants. The app displays a target wheel to show the progress towards the target count (default 108). While the app tries to match the chant with the words, it does not confirm full match. It is user’s responsibility to speak proper chant words. The purpose of the app is to do auto chant counting. The user also can use the app for manual counting by clicking left and right arrows to increment or decrement count. Touching the count area also will increment the count. In this manual mode it is not needed to click “Start Count” button. Currently the app supports only Hare Krishna chant. The coming versions will have more Mantra options. The Hare Krishna chant words are “Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare”Usage Tips:- Please make sure you are close to the phone and are in silent environment- Pause briefly (1-2 sec) after each chant. Taking a deep breath after each chant is a good practice- Pausing in the middle of chant will discard the current chant- If the count gets out of sync, you can Pause and Resume to restart the recognizer (without resetting the count)- If you notice a mistake in the count, you can touch left & right arrow to correct the count. - If the app goes into background and comes back, it will be in Pause mode.
